Community Sport and Activity Coach - Downs Leisure Centre

28 hours per week | £17,500 pro rata

Community and Health Improvement Team based out of Downs Leisure Centre, Seaford delivering activities out in the community.

Responsibilities

The Community and Health Improvement Team provide opportunities to participate in sport and physical activity, across the Lewes District and Eastbourne, not just within Wave facilities but out in the community to include; Schools, Colleges, Care Homes, Community Centre’s and open spaces.

Principally working with children, young people and families (but not exclusively), as a Community Sport and Activity Coach you will plan and deliver high quality sport and physical activity sessions, providing opportunities which lead to improved health and wellbeing choices, through;

1. Planning & delivery of physical activities, sport and exercise.
2. Positive community engagement.
3. Improve accessibility and greater opportunities to participate.
4. Effective promotion of positive health and wellbeing.
