Filo –General Manager

I started in a company as a team member and I quickly  had the opportunity to grow and to develop myself. I climbed the family tree up to the position I have today: General Manager. With my team we are in the heart of the city, come and meet us in Tower 42 near Liverpool street. If you read my story, coffee is on us. The Special thing about our beloved company is that we are always looking for people willing to develop. We offer incredible  opportunities and trainings to do so.

Our company it’s like a family: we care about each other,we recognize people with skills and praise them.  Not to mention our epic company parties where you know how to start, but never know how it’s going to end. I’m super happy to be part of this amazing company and I highly recommend people who are looking for opportunities, team fun and healthy food to join us. 

Joffer–General Manager

My story started as a Kitchen Porter in Maddox Street back in 2012. After 1 month I was challenged by my manager as then I could not say even “sorry” in English. She told me “Joffergo to an englishschool , if you bring back to me your agreement with an English institute, I will give you  more hours and you will be my runner” . I started my classes the same day, I become runner after one week. . 

I’m graduated in human resources , I love working with people, helping them growing and developing. It’s been 7 years now and I’ve met a lot of people , some of them have done a big difference in my life , I’ve learned a lot on how to treat yourself and the most important thing How to love people without expecting nothing back, always with a big support from my Operation Managers. I’m currently the General Manager in Artillery Row, one of the busiest stores in town.

In a scale of 1 to 10, I would say more than 10 , I’m so happy to be part of Tossed now. If you feel like showing the skills you have and learn more and more, Tossed it’s just the right place, here you can be genuinely yourself and won’t need to hide your personality. Even if you make a mistake, you will always have someone to show you how to fix it. 

Monica –Learning and development officer

I started in Vital in 2011. I had just landed from Colombia looking for new adventures and opportunities. I fell in love with coffee and with my coffee machine so when new branches were opened, I was asked to spread that love and train the new team members. I became part of Head Office from 2013 encouraged by one of the bosses that believed in me. 

Many things have changed during these 8 years. There have been great times and I've stayed through all of them because of the bonds I have made with colleagues that have become like family and because I have never stopped learning. Also both Vital and later onTossed supported me during my studies.

I currently work as Training and Development Officer in the Greenhouse. I'm now part of a bigger family: Tossed and Vital, the learning and growing continues and that is the most important thing for me. One of the things that I like about working in Tossed is the genuine enthusiasm around the team. Everyone wants to succeed and enjoy life and work in the process. It's refreshing to be around a bunch of people that believe in what they do and get excited with the little details of life.
