Active Living Manager - Manchester

The role: The Active Living Manager role will support Trafford Leisure’s vision to become the most active place in England.

You will work closely with people referred by health and social care professionals to bring out their potential to make movement a normal everyday behaviour and engage in appropriate leisure and community based physical activity provision.

Do you have a passion for improving people’s health and wellbeing, an understanding of long-term health conditions, and excellent interpersonal skills? Then this could be the role for you!

We are looking for someone with experience of working in an exercise or health-related field to work in partnership with a variety of referral organisations to help reduce health inequalities in Trafford through appropriate physical activity.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of Exercise on Referral qualification and one Level 4 specialist qualification
  • Evidence of ongoing personal development and a personal commitment to undertaking appropriate training to further develop skills and competencies where required

Location:                     

You will be expected to work from various sites across Trafford although we are happy to work flexibly with you.
