We are looking for a creative, passionate, experienced chef to take control of our kitchen in our busy central London pub.

Good food is essential to us and we pride ourselves of providing a fantastic seasonal menu with a British theme, using fresh, high quality ingredients from small scale, organic suppliers. From snacks and small plates to brunch dishes to a la carte to sharing platters, all elements of our food menus are crucial to our desire to provide a high-quality service in a relaxed environment.

The Smugglers Tavern has gone from strength to strength since re-opening 3 years ago and we are looking for someone with ambition and desire to take it to the next level.

We are located on Warren Street, in the busy Fitzrovia area in Central London where offices host over 100,000 workers and which was described by The Times as the best place to live in London. The kitchen itself is spacious, newly refurbished and excellently equipped, perfectly set up for the busy nature of The Smugglers.

Our head chef will be responsible for writing menus, producing fantastic food, managing the kitchen team, maintaining the kitchen and ensuring H&S is correctly regulated.

The Smugglers Tavern is part of Tidalwave Bars. Started in 2011 by friends Ross, Angus and Crusoe, Tidalwave Bars are a growing business consisting of The Colonel Fawcett & The Sir Colin Campbell. We specialise in pubs with an independent feel, a warm welcome and fantastic food and drink offer.
