Overview

The Zetter Townhouse Marylebone is a 24-bedroom Georgian townhouse and cocktail lounge which enjoys an enviable location on Seymour Street. The Townhouse features a spectacular Rooftop Apartment with a roof terrace and al fresco bath, 19 bedrooms and 4 studio suites. While the Townhouse in Clerkenwell is known as the home of Zetter's Great Aunt Wilhelmina, the Marylebone property is that of our Wicked Uncle Seymour.

The Cocktail Lounge is a collaboration between The Zetter Group, Tony Conigliaro (Drinks Factory and 69 Colebrooke Row) and Chef Bruno Loubet. Stuffed full of oddities and curios, with an open fire crackling in the grate, the relaxed, informal sitting room is equally suited to a lazy afternoon tea as it is a night of uproarious revelry.

What we are looking for in YOU

  • Inspiring Leadership

  • Exceptional customer service and managerial skills
  • Previous experience managing a team within the Hospitality industry, ideally in Front Office Operations
  • Enthusiasm to learn about the uniqueness of The Zetter Group
  • A keen eye for detail to maintain brand strength.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety Standards
  • A Manager who is professional, well groomed, elegant and sociable at all times.
  • A course /diploma or similar in Hospitality Management would be highly advantageous.
  • The ability to communicate in the English Language is essential.
  • Take ownership for your responsibilities and respect others at all times.

Responsibilities

What does the ROLE look like

  • As Front of House Manager you will manage and motivate a small and passionate team of Receptionists, Night Managers, Night Porters & Duty Managers
  • You will report directly to the General Manager and will deputise in her absence.
  • Working 5 days per week between Monday and Sunday with occasional night shifts required.
  • You will ensure that we host extraordinary experiences for guest’s by;
    -Helping staff maintain a great state of mind.
    -Role-modelling and showcasing your exceptional customer service skills, being patient and attentive with every guest that visits us.
    -Engaging daily with your colleagues, keeping interdepartmental communication open and honest.
    -Implementing new ideas, systems and procedures to ensure the Front of House team are always operating efficiently and smoothly.
  • The Front of House Manager also takes responsibility for implementing all statutory Fire, Security and Health and Safety standards and training the team.
  • Ensure revenue budgets are met through effective promotion by your team
