Full Time Contract, 40 hours per week, salary offered up to £12ph plus tronc (approx. £1.50ph additional) .

About you

As part of Receptionist we are looking to welcome a passionate, energetic, and driven Receptionist to our family here at the Wild Rabbit. This position will see you being the face of the business, a true brand ambassador of our brand.

As a Receptionist, you'll be responsible for delivery of exceptional service to guests at all times. You will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the reception desk, proactively assisting the needs of guests throughout their stay. You will possess a warm and charismatic demeanour, championing the Wild Rabbit standards throughout your role.  

Main responsibilities

  • Answering any incoming calls and emails in a timely manner, directing them to the best person
  • Taking room and restaurant reservations via our reservation system in absence of the central Guest Services team
  • Posting and balancing the daily banking
  • Cash up the day’s sales and ensure all signed guest F & B checks are present and correctly transferred to room invoices
  • Provide all daily reports, and ensure Reception is represented at the daily meeting
  • To check guests in and out and prepare bills, ensuring all payments are taken on departure
  • To ensure all work areas are clean and tidy at all times
  • To highlight H&S matters to your line manager or appropriate parties
  • To deliver and champion The Wild Rabbit standards
