Waiting Staff - Clapham, London
The Stonhouse Pub, a busy gastro pub off Clapham High Street, is recruiting responsible and reliable full-time waitstaff to start immediately.
The successful candidates will live locally, pride themselves on excellent customer service, speak English fluently, have a positive attitude and be able to work independently. Experience serving tables is essential and some barista knowledge would be a definite asset.
The candidate will have a very relaxed, cheerful manner with customers, but understand the importance of being fast and focused, and of communicating well with colleagues.
Weekday shifts require full-time staff to work independently and they must therefore possess strong serving skills, basic bartending skills as well as excellent initiative finding tasks to perform during quieter periods.
Our employees enjoy a share of service in addition to their wage, meals on shift, as well as opportunities for advancement in a growing company. A minimum commitment of 6 months is expected as is availability over the Christmas/New Year period.
