Office Cleaner - New Opening - The Standard London

At the heart of our hotels are of course of people who through their vibrancy and energy bring our properties to life. As our London team begins to grow, we are now seeking an Office Cleaner / Public Area Cleaner to join our team.

Your role

Initially we are looking for an Office Cleaner who will help maintain our current working spaces within our pre-opening offices. This will include the daily cleaning our office areas, kitchen, meeting spaces, corridors and toilets. You will also ensure all rubbish is removed, floors are vacuumed and mopped, and our dishwasher is stacked and empty.

As our team grows, we will begin to occupy more areas of the hotel and the areas you maintain will increase. Closer to our opening date you will begin to support the Housekeeping Management team with public areas in the hotel and the preparation of our show rooms as required; longer term when the hotel is operational you will become part of our permanent team as a Public Area Cleaner.

While prior experience as an Office Cleaner / Public Area Cleaner will always be useful all are welcome at The Standard so your background may be less conventional; you will have an uncompromised and natural flair for time management and be able to build a reliable and dynamic team. In addition to this you will also need….

  • Previous experience as an office cleaner or back of house clea
  • ner in a hotel or office environment
  • Good understanding of health and safety, manual handling and COSHH
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Highly motivated and pro-active; act with professionalism and positivity in all interactions
  • Opening experience preferred
