Reservations Coordinator - The Stafford London

12 month Fixed-Term Maternity Cover

Responsibilities 

  • To be a professional, friendly and efficient first point of contact for all guests of The Stafford Hotel ensuring that our facilities are sold in such a way that maximizes revenue whilst satisfying the guests’ expectations.
  • To ensure you are fully aware of all tariffs, promotions, facilities and current activities within the hotel, the area and London.
  • To liaise with all departments and communicate any special requirements and requests of individual guests.
  • To ensure that all reservations, enquiries and requests are confirmed in line with company policy, (24 hours)
  • To negotiate with clients to achieve maximum revenue profit potential while satisfying clients’ needs.
  • To be aware of, maintain relationships with regular guests to encourage repeat business and to develop new relationships so our new guests will always become regular . 
  • To adhere to the trained call standards at all times 
  • To ensure that the Property Management System (Opera V5) is maintained with accurate records for clients, agencies and companies. 
  • To be aware of all front office procedures and assist with reception duties when required.
  • To ensure accuracy and attention to detail is maintained on all stages of reservations from the initial enquiry to the guest’s departure, which includes correspondence checking on a daily basis. 
  • To attend front office meetings, appraisals, training and functions as required.
  • As an employee of The Stafford Hotel involved in maintaining high standards, to undertake any reasonable requests made by management in any other areas of the house.

You will be/have 

  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Excellent telephone manner with a warm and welcoming disposition
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen desire to excel in profit targets
  • Experienced in hotel front office operations or sales in a four or five star environment 
  • Computer literate, ideally with Opera experience
