The Role:

The Kitchen Administrator/Goods Received Supervisor will enable the Kitchen department to keep accurate records and support the running of Kitchen operations with the organisation of deliveries, stock checking and quality checking. To ensure best practice is achieved within the Kitchen department.

This role is suited to a person that is well organized, enthusiastic and professional. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical to the success of this role.

 Accountabilities:

  • To check, weigh and store all deliveries using the correct practice
  • To check temperatures of delivered foods and delivery vehicles against set Company standards
  • To check the quality of all delivered goods against set standards
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure correct delivery and prises
  • Creating PO (purchase orders) for non-food items and organizing/stock taking
  • To organize all requisition and filing in order to ensure the Kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Assist the Kitchen department with tasks including paperwork, in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure kitchen deadlines are met, liaise with appropriate kitchen staff to action tasks that need to be completed
  • Keeping offices clean and tidy
  • Answering phones for general enquiries
  • Other administrative duties as require

Knowledge and Experience

Essentials:

  • Very good command of the English Language
  • A professional personable phone manner
  • Able to perform physical tasks when required (lifting of boxes, etc.)
