About The Restaurant Group

The Restaurant Group Plc (TRG) is a significant player in the UK casual dining market, operating over 400 restaurants and pubs which include Frankie and Benny's, Wagamama, Chiquito, and Brunning & Price pubs. We also operate a concession business, which trades in many of the UK airports.

This is an exciting time for TRG - as well as recent changes and innovation to develop our offering and customer experience in our established, iconic brands such as Frankie and Benny's, we are also pursuing other growth opportunities within the dining sector, exploiting online brands, delivery, click and collect and grab and go.


Responsibilities:

* Work closely with senior stakeholders to develop, deliver and continually evaluate a reward and benefits strategy that supports us in attracting and retaining the best talent
* Support the design and communication of share plans, including rules and metrics
* Support People director with REMCO papers/plans
* Lead on internal salary benchmarking and assess existing bonus plans and metrics
* Lead in the implementation of competitive, creative and cost effective benefits
* Benchmark company reward and benefits practices, programmes and policies to ensure we position ourselves as an employer of choice
* Lead on all aspects of pension provisions
* Manage relationships with our external reward and benefits providers to ensure quality and maximum value
* Own and drive reward, wellbeing and benefits projects
* Support reporting activity within the People function.

 

Experience:

* Previous experience of working within a FTSE company is essential
* A deep understanding of share plans, including SAYE, LTIPs, Restricted Stock, and bonus referral schemes
* Previous experience working in a reward & benefits role
* Demonstrable experience of working in a large, commercial environment
* Proven track record of delivering reward and benefits projects

* Strong numerical and analytical skills with a preference for data and a strength in using Excel
