Reservationist

The Oxfordshire Golf, Hotel and Spa, part of the Leaderboard Group, is recruiting for a full time Reservationist to work as part of the Reservations team, providing an efficient and friendly reservations service to both external and internal customers, whilst maximizing all revenue opportunities and ensuring that clients and guests receive the highest standards at all times.

Reservationist Key Accountabilities:

• Input and maintain all individual and group reservations according to company standards;
• Maintain complete knowledge of all guest facilities, room specifications, room rates, hotel packages and promotions, special events and availability for any given day to be able to respond to customer inquiries;
• Perform show rounds of the premises and facilities when required;
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times;
• Daily check of reservations confirmed for next day and following weeks;
• To be conversant with Opera PMS, S&C and rates/ availability in CONFIG and Concept SPA & GOLF;
• Ensure correspondence files are accurate and kept current;
• Review no-show reservations and process charges;
• Support and assist Reception when requested by Sales & Reservations Manager;
• To undertake any other related administrative duties within the department in response to priorities set by the Owners/Senior Management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience working in a Reservations role;
• Good computer systems experience, such as Opera would be advantageous;
• Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team are essential.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm and you will be reporting to the Sales and Reservations Manager.
