The restaurant operates a no-reservations policy but that means everyone is welcome; if there is a table available you’ll be seated straight away. If you do have to wait you can visit our gorgeous Cocktail Lounge Bar ‘Upstairs at The Oak’ to enjoy an aperitif.
Our Flagship Restaurant
The Oak is the flagship restaurant for the small restaurant group Jasper Gorst has established over the last 18 years which include The Bird in Hand, Brook Green & The Oak W12 on Goldhawk Road. An old boozer turned into a modern Italian restaurant; the menu includes a fresh approach to Mediterranean classics & consistently excellent pizzas which propel the reputation of this neighborhood restaurant across London.

Serving classic cocktails; something they are famed for, sometimes with an inspiring twist but always served by our talented & knowledgeable cocktail bar staff. Perfect to accompany a selection of our delicious tapas dishes; these are the little highlights of our main menu; the most popular items of our Italian influenced tapas style food – delightful.
Upstairs at The Oak
Our chic & comfortable lounge bar opens Monday to Friday evenings from 6pm & from 4.30pm at the weekends. Most people find Upstairs at The Oak whilst waiting for their table downstairs but besides the bustling restaurant beneath it is a gorgeous space to be & drink in; Enjoy!

The Private Table Upstairs
Tucked away upstairs you will find our stunning private dining room, adjacent to, but still very much part of our cocktail bar. Folding doors can provide just the right amount of privacy yet still capturing the atmosphere of the popular bar lounge. The table can seat up to 16 for a 2 or 3 course meal and can be booked for lunch or dinner any day of the week; perfect for a celebratory dinner with friends or family. The room also has the versatility to be used for more corporate daytime functions, with lunch.
