Sous Chef - The Oak SW11
New restaurant opening January 2019
The Oak SW11, Battersea
We are:
- A small independent restaurant group
- Currently operating The Oak W2, The Oak W12 and The Bird in Hand W14
- Looking for an experienced head chef
- Serving Mediterranean style menu with the emphasis on Italy, Spain and regional France
- Well known for our pizzas (many say the best in London)
- Using only top-quality ingredients
The restaurant:
- Up to 120 covers
- Beautiful bar and mezzanine dining area
- We operate a no bookings policy
- Will be open 7 days a week, Monday to Sunday, for breakfast, lunch and dinner
You are:
- A passionate and skilled sous chef
- Enthusiastic, with a dynamic approach
- Reliable with a good work ethic
- Able to demonstrate a genuine natural ability to cook
- Two years appropriate experience
- Knowledge of traditional Italian or Mediterranean cooking is an asset
Details:
- £28,000 depending on experience
- 7 shift pattern with 2 days off
- 28 days holidays per year
- A clear understanding of GP's, costings, dealing with suppliers, etc
- A knowledge of HACCP, COSHH, food hygiene laws and the ability to put this into practice
