How The Ned Happened

Taking over the City’s disused Midland Bank Building, Soho House & Co. and New York’s Sydell Group have collaborated to restore the beautiful Grade I listed building. Hosting 9 restaurants, bars, a member’s club, Barber & Parlour, Ned’s Club Active & Relax, two swimming pools, along with six dedicated event spaces.

The Role

The concierge is a key member of the front of house team who will play a pivotal role in the guest experience. You will always be the point of contact to any guest who is looking for a wide variety of requests from restaurants, bars, clubs, events, museums etc. You will have the ability to truly affect the guest’s overall experience not only in the hotel, but in London and beyond. Excellent, above and beyond style of service is the foundation of everything you do. You will have exceptional people skills and have the ability to read guests’ needs and customize every experience. You are great at multi-tasking and thinking outside the box. You are comfortable dealing with high profile guests from diverse backgrounds. You will be working very closely with the front of house team, especially the bell and door team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Exceptional communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
• Pro-active and reliable
• Comfortable with basic PC functions and Hotel Operating systems would be a plus
• Motivational and creates team spirit
• Efficient in multi-tasking in high pressure environments
• Comfortable and able to carry luggage and guest items

• Have flexible availability
• Previous London - Concierge experience is a plus
