The Lygon Arms Hotel is an old coaching inn which sits in the heart of Broadway village – often called ‘the jewel of the Cotswolds’ – and boasts a rich history. With the spa tucked in a tranquil pocket at the hotel, 86 unique bedrooms, secluded gardens and relaxed dining experiences, there are so many ways to soak up the countryside pace.
Aim of the role
To ensure that arriving and departing guests are taken care of to the standards set by the company.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure the efficient and safe transferral of luggage.
- To be respectful and confident at meeting and seeing off all arriving and departing guests during shift.
- To be confident and intuitive in ensure no guests are left waiting in any are of the Front Hall or public areas for an excessive amount of time (more than 5 minutes) without being spoken to.
- To take pride and be passionate about ensuring all public areas are tidy and set up at all times to the required standard.
- To show teamwork and flexibility and assist Reception in peak periods with guest enquiries, issuing of keys etc.
- To establish a courteous, respectful, helpful and friendly attitude to all guests at all times.
- To be confident and take ownership to ensure all messages are delivered to recipients promptly and according to their wishes.
- To be responsible for answering enquiries and assisting guests with queries, routes, etc.
- To assist in any area as required and perform any reasonable tasks as requested by Management, understand teamwork and flexibility.
- To ensure all track and trace information is collected from our guests.
Concierge - About you
- Experience in working in a 4* or 5* hotel is desirable
- You will have a keen eye for detail, organisational skills and confident in communicating with the team and guests
