The Langham, London; Europe’s first Grand Hotel and Forbes 5* rated property, is currently recruiting for a Concierge to join our talented team. We are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.

In the role of Concierge, your key focus will be to:

• ensure a courteous, prompt and efficient service is provided to our guests
• arrange for delivery and collection of luggage, parcels, or mail and liaison with Front Office
• ensure items are correctly recorded and stored safely if necessary
• assist guests in various requests and enquiries like restaurant reservations, transportation, obtaining tickets for social events
• ensure prompt and accurate taking of messages and deliveries
• maintain excellent knowledge of the local area, theatre shows, restaurants and other facilities which guests may require

Do you have? -

• excellent customer service skills and a real understanding of 5* luxury environment service requirement
• excellent communication skills, in English language, both written and verbal and one other language
• strong IT and systems skills (Microsoft Office, HotSOS, Alice, Opera)
• immaculate personal presentation
• possession of Golden Keys (advantageous)
• pro-active behaviour and leading by example at all times
• ability to solve problems and make balanced decisions
