The Langdale Estate is set in 35 acres of woodland & waterways in the heart of the Lake District.  The Estate comprises Langdale Hotel - a 52 bedroom hotel, Brimstone - a 16 bedroom boutique hotel, 100 timeshare units, Stove Restaurant & Bar, Wainwrights Inn and Brimstone Spa.

 

People are at the heart of our business and we are looking to strengthen our People team to ensure that this is always the case.  We are looking for somebody to join the team 

 

This is a varied and challenging role that will cover all aspects of People/HR administration such as:

 

Updating and maintaining databases Assisting with recruitment administrationCollecting and collating data relating to attendance absence and sickness for reporting purposesSupporting the completion of bi-weekly and monthly payrollAdministrative duties relating to the employee life cycleProviding administrative support for all aspects of HR 

We are looking for somebody with brilliant communication skills; excellent administrative skills with the ability to be accurate and organized, someone who has the ability to build great relationships.  The ability to work on your own initiative and manage your own workload is needed. Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and social media is needed. Experience of working in a busy office environment would also be useful. 

 

Full time / part time available.  Great opportunities for varied training including CIPD qualification will be provided where needed.

 

This is a live out role and ability to commute / relocate is required.
