Fitness and Leisure Club Assistant 

 

The Langdale Estate is set in 35 acres of woodland & waterways in the heart of the Lake District.  The Estate comprises Langdale Hotel - a 52 bedroom hotel, Brimstone - a 16 bedroom boutique hotel, 100 timeshare units, Stove Restaurant & Bar and Brimstone Spa.

 

We are looking for a customer focused person to join the team who look after the fitness & leisure area.  The overall purpose of the role is to provide a high level of service and customer care to all users of the leisure club and spa.  The role is varied and includes being on the reception desk, looking after the pools and safety of all the users, cleaning the leisure club & spa area, advising guests of spa treatments, and performing fitness programming / screening and gym inductions and personal training.  You will engage with guests to identify opportunities to promote additional products or services, including the up-selling of club memberships, personal training, spa  treatments and products.

 

The successful candidate needs to have excellent customer service and communication skills, be organized, efficient and adaptable to the changing requirements of the role throughout the shift with a ‘can do’ attitude. Pool attendant/Lifeguard, gym instructor and first aid qualifications would be desirable.   

 

The Langdale Estate is located in the heart of the Langdale valley so ideal for those that like the outdoors and want to spend their days off walking, climbing, mountain biking etc.
