We’re launching our very own version of coworking – and looking for a Head of Operations to get involved from the very beginning.

We have always done coworking...Since 2006 The Hoxton has been home to laptop savvy workers making use of super-fast Wi-Fi and comfy sofas as they hustle away in a place that feels like home. So it feels only natural for us to take our love for great experiences and create a space that offers everything you need to do your (other) day job or take over the world, in our stylish and comfortable surroundings.

Our first London coworking site will be part of The Hoxton, Southwark, opening later this year, and have something for everyone. Think hot-desking, open studios and dedicated offices, events & wellness spaces, a member café & bar, and a stimulating events programme – all with stunning views over the Thames.

What you’ll do…

  • At the heart of all you do will be creating an amazing experience for all members, visitors, partners, vendors and team members
  • Lead our ‘front office’ team, creating an environment where people are set up for success, can be themselves and know they can turn to you with questions & ideas
  • Lots of planning, logistics, scheduling, systems, stock checks – ensuring everything runs like clockwork will be key!
  • Become part of our pre-opening team, working with the General Manager and our Director of Coworking on shaping all the detail that will go into making our new venture a success

What we are looking for…

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar operations role (coworking would be great). A blend of coworking and hospitality is our perfect combo
  • You’ve managed operational teams before and are a natural at bringing others along on the journey
  • Someone who is not afraid of the word ‘SOP’ and knows how to make use of them without being branded a ‘stickler’
  • Exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, juggling many things at once, but always dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s
  • A combination of creative problem-solving flair and a technical/ logistical approach in delivering on plans
  • You are looking for a place where you can be you, no clones in suits here
  • Contagious passion for great service and what you do - you get a kick out of getting people to those aha! moments. You’re all about having a positive impact on the people you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience.
  • You’re not precious. We leave our egos at the door and help get shit done. You admit when you’re wrong and look for ways to grow.
  • If we got stuck in a lift together, we’d have a good time and share a few laughs
  • You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way
