HR Compliance Officer - Skipton

Main purpose of the Job

As a multi-skilled HR Administrator you will be required to provide timely, high quality and effective HR administration services across all areas of HR and to provide full support to all the line managers across the company. This role will report directly to the Director of Finance and be part of a busy operational department and all HR data/information must be treat in the strictest of confidence.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for handling all HR administrative queries whether that is via the telephone, email or referral from an Associate
  • Responsibility for providing administrative support to HR, Employee Health & Safety, COSHH, Manual Handling and payroll
  • Working as part of a team, this role will be involved in payroll and HR system updates, clock- ins and Kelio administration
  • Liaison with occupational health, drafting sickness / absence paperwork including letters to medical professionals, employees and managers
  • Production of standard offers of employment including referencing and the issue of contracts of employment
  • Production of probation letters and diary management of 6 month reviews
  • Management of the maternity and levers processes together with all necessary paperwork
  • This role will take ownership for responding to general queries from candidates applying direct along with ensuring the recruitment in-box is managed
  • Scheduling interviews to include diary management with the team and liaising with recruitment agents and direct candidates; Ensuring for all interviews that the necessary meeting rooms, equipment and refreshments are booked
  • Update Indeed and also The Coniston Hotel HR website of all new positions within the company, to include general advertising for all jobs
  • Provide training course administration including course booking and the preparation and distribution of pre-course and post-course materials including First-Aid
  • General administration as and when required to include filing and general maintenance of the company’s employee records
  • Maintain all company personnel records in a secure and safe storage
  • Handling disciplinary and grievance issues, administration and reporting in liaison with both the Managing Director and the Finance Director
  • Holiday control administration
  • Sickness control administration
  • Administration ol all inductions to include core values and code of conduct and 48 hour opt-out agreement
  • To undertake all Exit Interviews
  • Preparation of Monthly report for payroll/HR statistics
  • Any other related HR matters
