General Manager - The Club At Mapledurham

The General Manager post is a highly varied and demanding role, you will manage every aspect of the business, including sales & retention, operations and staff training so experience in all or most of these areas is a must.

Responsible for the operations and finances in the club, you'll maximise all revenue opportunities, control costs and ensure the surroundings are safe and healthy. Your leadership skills will instill a culture amongst staff for the need for exceptional service to our members.

You will be used to managing people who are responsible for departments, and leading a large team on a day-to-day basis in a busy customer facing environment, ideally in the leisure sector.

You'll possess strong commercial skills and financial acumen, as well as P&L accountability and driving revenue lines. In addition you will need a flexible attitude to working patterns, as evenings, weekends and bank holidays are regularly required in this role.
