Welcome to the most vibrant restaurant in Cardiff. Three floors of luxurious surroundings themed on the renovated Chapel first constructed in 1877.
The French-Italian Gothic themed creation was originally designed by the architect Henry C Harris, renowned for his incredible structures throughout Cardiff and Wales in the late 1800s. Unlike like any other restaurants in Cardiff, Chapel 1877 offer a bespoke fine dining experience in the city centre.

The Pontcanna Inn is ideally located on Cathedral Road, close to Sophia Gardens and a short walk from the University, Castle and the SSE SWALEC, the Principality and Cardiff City Stadiums
We offer ten beautiful en-suite boutique-style bedrooms on the upper floors, while downstairs you’ll find a welcoming bar and lounge area plus fantastic terraces to the front and rear of the pub. Our talented chefs serve up a tempting menu of hearty and healthy food and if you are feeling thirsty, we offer an eclectic range of craft beers, real ales, cider, wines, cocktails and spirits. The Pontcanna Inn is the perfect place to watch live sports and we often have a barbecue going outside for you to enjoy. Open for breakfast, brunch and dinner 7 days a week.
