Private events are also a speciality of ours and we have a wide range of versatile spaces you can choose from.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Brighton Beach Club soon.
The Lion and Lobster
Spread over three floors, including a pub area, the Regency Restaurant and a wonderful hidden terrace, The Lion & Lobster is one of the oldest and most traditional pubs in Brighton and Hove. Set in a quiet street close to the seafront and crammed with an eclectic mix of pictures, bric a brac and other fascinating curios, it’s truly unique – the kind of place you feel instantly at home in and one of the best-kept secrets in the area.
Find a cosy seat in the rabbit warren of nooks and crannies and enjoy a relaxing pint, a delicious home-cooked meal or both. The Lion & Lobster is also the perfect place for group gatherings – in fact, its magical atmosphere makes it the kind of place you can’t wait to introduce friends to. Visit our charming and historic pub in the heart of Brighton and Hove and prepare to be enchanted…
The Walrus
A stone’s throw from the beach, on historic Ship Street in Brighton’s famous Lanes you’ll find the Walrus with its labyrinth of eclectically decorated rooms and endless winding passageways. You’ll also discover a wonderful hidden two-storey roof garden.
The ground floor with its open fire and booths is cosy and intimate. It’s the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a pint, glass of wine or a coffee and a chat.
Wander upstairs and bask with our mascot, Gregory the Walrus, in our bright, high ceilinged, airy restaurant offering some of the best seasonal, classic and contemporary dishes in Brighton.
The night’s still young? Head on down to our music venue, The Underbelly, and embrace the joy that is live music, whether it’s a duo, a five-piece band or even a cabaret.
