ICC Wales - Conference Porter

Come to work at our new and exciting International Convention Centre Wales where team work is key and customer service is of paramount importance!

 

We are looking to recruit a hard working Porter to assist the Conference and Banqueting Department. Duties include the daily set up and breakdown of meeting and banqueting suites, setting rooms as per resort standards and assisting clients and guests with movement of equipment. Thorough ongoing training is provided and because you will be part of a close knit team, there will always be someone to help support.

 

As a Conference and Banqueting Porter you will ensure that you work in a safe and considerate manner without harming, endangering guests or other staff, you will wear the appropriate uniform (provided) and use health and safety equipment as needed. You will also maintain the equipment in a clean and satisfactory condition for client use.

 

You will be required to perform other ad hoc duties as requested by your supervisor or senior manager.

 

Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. A full drivers licence would be an advantage along with flexibility due to differing shift patterns.
