JOB TITLE – Retail Stock Controller
DEPARTMENT – Stores
RATE OF PAY - £10.40 per hour including benefits
CONTRACT TYPE – Full Time
HOURS OF WORK – 40 hours                                            
SHIFT DETAILS – 5 days out of 7

OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Retail Stock Controller to join the team!

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR …
You are an individual with a minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar retail role/stock control role, experience of a Retail or Logistics Management system, working knowledge of finances, margins, cost controls, and competent IT user and fully trained user of Microsoft applications.
You will have fantastic communication skills and excellent attention to detail.  To excel in this role, you will also need plenty of drive, be a forward thinker and a strong team player

WHAT YOU’LL DO …
As Retail Stock Controller you will:
Physically assist in receiving goods into Main Stores
Maintain optimal retail stock levels to ensure timely availability of products
Review stocktakes and reconciles inventories
Manage excess and ageing stock, highlighting areas of concern to Senior Management
Review service levels on a continuous basis
Ensure internal procurement procedures are followed to customers and suppliers
Present written reports and analyses to senior departmental managers
Coordinates the delivery of goods from stores to the relevant outlets and the transfer of product throughout outlets
Utilise the Concept and NAV systems to receive, enter and book in stock
