Restaurant Manager - Lord Crewe Arms
- To ensure a smooth running of the dining and bar area.
- Management of the restaurant team.
- Develop business and promote to local community and hotel guests
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervision and Development of the team
- To push the 7 golden rules of hospitality
- To help staff feel comfortable in their informality, providing good service with relaxed feel
- To take on Duty management shifts in the absence of senior management
- Ensuring that the team has a good knowledge of products in order to maximise sales
- Produce and implement performance standards
- Ensuring that high standard of staff presentation and that customer care procedures are carried out to a high level
- Liaising with Head Chef daily regarding menu and new dishes
- Implementing high standard practice and policies of business
- To ensure the implementation and maintenance of legislation and procedures in a consistent manner
- Allocation of tasks to waiting staff
- Ensuring high standards of spot check of tables, bar and lounge areas
- Responsible for management of bookings
- Staff training
- Supervision of all facilities
- General administration to include timesheets and holiday forms
- Organisation of staff monthly meeting
- Organisation of restaurant and equipment
Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required
- Previous experience in working within a fine dining environment
- Good industry knowledge
- Previous supervisory experience
- High working practices and standards
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Positive approach to dealing with people
