‘The Painswick’ is the latest addition to the Calcot Collection. Poised on a hillside in the pretty Cotswolds village of Painswick and positioned as a restaurant with rooms, (otherwise known as ‘Feasts and the Rest’) The Painswick is all about fantastic food, innovative thinking and fuss free hospitality.

We are currently looking for a Housekeeper - Part-time - 30hrs per week to join our team.

Timings: 09:30 to 15:30 per day

Rota /Shift: 5 over 7 days - work pattern includes working weekends

Your main responsibilities will be:

• To ensure highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the Hotel and in all public areas
• To ensure agreed standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in all bedrooms in accordance with correct procedures
• To ensure that all equipment, furniture and furnishings are maintained, checked and kept in good working order in accordance with correct procedures and report all relevant faults.
• Ensure linen is dealt with in accordance with the Hotel’s guideline
• To ensure that any complaints or feedback from guests are dealt with in a timely and effective manner

Knowledge, experience and skills required:

• Professional attitude
• Hotel experience in a similar role is preferable
• Must have own transport

Due to location, candidates will ideally have access to their own transport.
