We have a fantastic opportunity for a Golf Operations Team Leader to work in our dynamic team at The Belfry, England’s leading Hotel and Resort. We have 319 bedrooms, Rosette standard dining, five food and beverage outlets, fantastic leisure facilities including our 20 treatment rooms & pool and of course, what we are famous for…golf. We have a really exciting year ahead at The Belfry, starting with hosting The British Masters in May 2022, and continuing with the launch of new training and development opportunities and incentives.

The Belfry is synonymous with golf and has hosted the Ryder Cup four times – more than any other venue in the world. Our world class golf courses have produced some of the most dramatic moments in the history of the sport. They attract players from the UK and beyond looking to relive the Ryder Cup magic, improve their game, and to make use of the unrivalled state-of-the-art golfing facilities.

About the Role

  • This role is a Leadership position within the Golf Operations Team and will involve assisting the Management Team in running the 3 Golf Courses alongside overseeing Corporate Golf Days
  • Day to day duties will include Derby Bus, Bag Store, Starter and Ranger Duties alongside overseeing corporate golf events
  • Corporate Golf Events will include planning the event, running the event on the day and helping to clear down the event once it has taken place
  • The Team Leader will assist in ensuring the highest levels of service are provided to our members and guests and be a positive role model for other members of the team
  • The Role will be a 40 hour per week contract, working 5/7 days to include a minimum of 1 day at a weekend
  • The successful candidate will be highly flexible and willing to work early mornings, late evenings and see golf days through to completion

About you

  • Driven to deliver exceptional customer service in a world renowned golf resort
  • Experience working within a golf operation
  • Preferred PGA Qualified/PGA Trainee Professional  or equivalent degree
  • Full Driving licence required
