Maintenance Supervisor - The Belfry, Sutton Coldfield

Overview:

We are currently accepting applications to join our Maintenance Team as a Maintenance Supervisor. The candidate will ideally come from an electrical background but other trades are also welcomed. This is a diverse and varied role, and the successful applicant must be multi-skilled and have experience working autonomously in a fast paced environment liaising with a variety of departments.

Key duties:

• To supervise the maintenance team ensuring all daily tasks are completed to a high standard escalating any performance issues where necessary.
• Be aware of all necessary standards & arrange for all team members to attend any relevant training courses required to fulfil their duties. 
• Assist with generating the Rota’s and other administrative duties.
• Attend to maintenance issues within the hotel as required
• Be familiar with all on site electrical installations/equipment and have the ability to ‘fault find’ and complete repairs or report findings to line manager
• React to situations that require cross section of expertise to alleviate problems that may affect the efficient operation of the resort or the safety of guests or employees
• Liase with external contractors to ensure service excellence and cost effectiveness.
• Oversee planned maintenance schedules
• To carry out a range of administrative tasks as & when necessary
• Ensure that all statutory obligations are fulfilled within predetermined budgets and time lines.
• Liaise with Health & Safety Manager where required to ensure that all current legislation is adhered to.
• To safeguard the company’s property at all times.
• To carry out other duties that may be necessary from time to time.
