New York, 1965. An icon was created. The cocktail party on the street. A meeting place for young lovers looking for wild nights, daring cocktails and legendary food. We’re now thrilled to be able to confirm a new restaurant-bar proposition inspired by the very first TGI Fridays.
Opening initially in Cobham, Surrey with further sites to be added nationwide in early 2021, the specific brand identity will be publicly announced soon.
We’re looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join this new and exciting venture. We want the best in class to help us establish a new brand concept and deliver a truly memorable customer experience to our guests.
With the emphasis on fine dining, eclectic flavours, an extensive wine list and famous cocktails life really does taste better shared. The philosophy celebrates the coming together of many things; people, culture, tastes and styles. We’ll always offer our guests more, and deliver with a lively, memorable and generous spirit. Cool but comfortable interiors ensure a relaxed atmosphere and music will chill the mind and thrill the senses.
As part of this new brand launch, you will be responsible for maintaining the standards set by the management team and will play a crucial role in driving them forwards. You will help to shape our new dining experience, to ensure that the fantastic food, delicious drinks and supreme service gets our guests coming back for more and more.
Working in our busy kitchen, you will be responsible for making sure our standard of service remains high at all times, ensuring your team sections are running efficiently and that you and the team are consistently delivering fantastic fresh food to our guests.
The successful applicants should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector
- Solid customer service experience, working to very high standards
- Ambitious, career orientated and ready to establish a new national bar and dining experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think fast
- Inspirational communication skills
