Our first motorway service area, at Tebay, opened 46 years ago when the M6 was built through the Dunning family farm. We work with over 70 local producers within 30 miles; food with locality and a sense of belonging is at the very heart of everything we do. We believe proper food matters so we serve it where you'd least expect it, in our Farmshops and Kitchens, on the motorway

What we are looking for

We are looking for Assistant Team Leaders to support the Team Leaders in our Catering departments to ensure delivery of excellent service to our customers. You will help to lead by example to ensure the effective running of the shift in our busy cafes.

Responsibilities will include ensuring our food is presented to the highest standard and ensuring an excellent customer experience, as well as ensuring that cleaning duties are completed and we are compliant with all HACCP requirements. You will also need be competent to lead the shift to cover Team Leaders holidays.

Our ideal candidates will have a catering background and have great customer service and communication skills. Experience of leading a team would be preferred however successful candidates will have the opportunity to attend our Academy management training programme.

These are full time permanent positions working 5 shifts over 7 days on a set 3 week rota (earliest start times can be 7am and latest finish time could be 11pm).
