Role description for Bartender:

An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Bartender who has the passion for delivering the highest levels of service to join the Stoke Park team. This position is for a fixed term contract until end December 2021. As Bartender you will be expected to have:

Role Outline for Bartender:

  • To provide all guests and members with a professional yet friendly service, in a warm professional and yet relaxing atmosphere. You will assist in preparing and serving cocktails, spirits, wines and other beverages together with food and assist in the smooth day-to-day running of all bars
  • To maintain a high level of customer service working as part of a team to achieve the technical and customer care skills required to be confident in the role.
  • To ensure all items are processed through the POS system and charged accordingly to the correct accounts.
  • To ensure that all spillage, wastage and transfers are recorded and passed onto the stock taker at month end.
  • To ensure all line cleaning and cellar management procedures are adhered to.
  • To ensure that product quality and presentation of all Food and Beverage items are of the highest standard.
  • To ensure opening and closing procedures are adhered to.
  • To prepare the daily stock requisitioning form and collect stock from stores once checked off.
  • To ensure stock rotation is maintained when stocking up the bars.
  • To ensure that all billing and cashing up procedures are adhered to.

Skills/Experience for Bartender role:

  • Previous Bar Waiter experience is essential
  • Experience of working in a quality bar environment
  • Passionate about delivering the highest levels of service with a desire to learn and work hard
  • Keen to progress your career in a quality bar environment
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Very good product knowledge with the ability to deliver engaging and individual service to all of our guests and members at all times
  • Assist in preparing and serving cocktails, spirits, wines and other beverages

The Role will be 40 hours a week, day or night shifts on a rotating basis to include weekends and bank holidays as per the rota.

Required experience for Bartender role:

  • Previous Bar Waiter experience is essential
  • Experience of working in a quality bar environment
  • Passionate about delivering the highest levels of service with a desire to learn and work hard
