Job Description

Are you an ambitious finance professional looking to advance your career? We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Assistant to support our Financial Controller and ensure the smooth operation of our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our hotel and grow within a dynamic environment.

Role Responsibilities

  • Daily Audits: Perform daily audits of hotel business activities to ensure compliance with company standards, including revenue and payment reconciliations.
  • Financial Administration: Assist with sales ledger, purchase ledger, business control, and payroll tasks, adhering to weekly and monthly schedules.
  • Expenditure Control: Manage hotel expenditure through the purchase ordering system (PW), verifying delivery notes and invoices for accuracy.
  • Financial Monitoring: Support the monitoring of management accounting and control systems at the unit level, ensuring alignment with company policies.
  • Cost Management: Help monitor costs and assist in producing accurate weekly revenue forecasts to drive financial success.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve day-to-day accounting routines for the finance team's efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Bookkeeping Standards: Ensure all bookkeeping standards are consistently maintained.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with the Group Finance Team on financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and address any ad hoc finance-related queries.
