Commis Chef (Casual Hours) - Stevenage Golf and Conference Centre

Stevenage Leisure Limited (SLL) is a registered charity, one of the UK’s leading ‘leisure trusts’, a community-based and focused Non-Profit Distributing Organisation. We currently work closely in partnership with local authorities in Hertfordshire Bedfordshire and Rutland to manage 18 leisure and cultural facilities across 10 towns.

We are seeking a Commis Chef to work casual hours and assist the Head Chef in providing a high quality food service to the centre and its customers.

Responsibilities will include:

• You will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the kitchen, food preparation and storage areas.

What we are looking for:

• You will be required to work as part of a team, maintaining professional working relationships and assisting other team members in a helpful and flexible manner
• You will possess a basic Food & Hygiene Certificate and have operational experience in a kitchen.
• This post requires flexibility as you will be required to work daytimes, some evenings and weekends.
