The Queens Head is an award winning and popular Welsh village pub and restaurant in Glanwydden. We have a team of hard working and dedicated staff and are now looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team.  We are passionate about food and prepare everything in house to a high standard.  

The Queens already has a solid reputation and is due a major overhaul and investment in the next few months.  This will include a brand new commercial kitchen, as well as adding a new garden room for our diners to enjoy.  This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie looking for a progressive and challenging role, to work alongside our head and senior sous chefs in creating a delicious menu using fresh, local produce.

AS JUNIOR SOUS CHEF:

You will work closely with the head chef and other chefs in all sections of the kitchen. You will have input into the designing and planning of our continually evolving dishes and menu. You will be a team player and have a passion for working in the industry. You will be ambitious and want to improve yourself, the menu, our team and the business as a whole.

PAY

Salary would be between £24,000 - £25,000 per annum + generous tips, company discounts and employee benefits.

HOURS

This is a full time position, working approximately 48 hours per week.  This will include evening and weekend work so flexibility is a must.
