We have a few pubs in the area, and, are currently looking for an EXPERIENCED CHEF to join our company to enhance our kitchen teams. The role is fairly flexible and can either be on a part time basis, based solely at THE SNOWDON or a full-time position with shifts split between THE SNOWDON and THE COTTAGE LOAF, depending on the suitable candidate.
The Snowdon is one of the oldest pubs in town, and the food offering there is a recent addition to the pub following its full refurbishment. We serve a lunch time offer of bar snacks, sandwiches and platters, so hours here are mainly straight shifts during the day. The Cottage Loaf is a traditional and busy foodie pub in the centre of town and has a long-established reputation for great, quality wholesome fresh food, attracting many diners from near and far.
We are looking for a friendly and outgoing experienced chef who can muck in and support the kitchen team and is able to manage a small kitchen on their own (lunchtimes at the Snowdon) in the head chefs’ absence. If you’re looking for a full time position, shifts are also available at The Cottage Loaf, so this would suit someone who enjoys the idea of a varied role and is a team player willing to play their part.
Salary will be £9.00/hr plus tips, company staff discounts and employee benefits.
HOURS OF WORK
Part Time or Full time to include bank holiday and weekend work.
