Customer Sales Executive - MK Dons FC, Milton Keynes

Department: Customer Services

Reporting to: Customer Service Manager

Contract: Permanent

Hours per week: 37.5

Overall Objective: To sell service and products from the InterMK Group and MK Dons Sports and Education Trust to new and existing supporters, local businesses, and other organizations via a mobile sales operation whilst supporting the day to day operation of the Box Office.

Job Description

Main Objectives

  • To sell tickets as well as other services and products from the Inter MK Group and the MK Dons Sports and Education Trust via a mobile sales operation in and around the Milton Keynes area. Locations will include Stadium MK, local commercial and educational premises, sporting venues and football clubs
  • To deliver various ‘roadshow’ activities as part of the mobile ticket operation experience
  • Provide all customers with an excellent and exceptional experience
  • To achieve targeted ticket sales volumes and incomes

Summary of Duties

  • To take the ticketing operation of the football club out into the community via a mobile ticket sales operation in a Club vehicle
  • To liaise with relevant people from within InterMK Group and MK Dons Sports and Education Trust to maximize sales leads and revenue
  • To generate new leads and opportunities for our existing Group Tickets Rewards schemes
  • To deliver agreed roadshow activities as part of the mobile ticket sales operation
  • To be a visual presence at various events throughout the local area. These might include but are not limited to local football matches, fetes, fairs and other events not directly linked to MK Dons operations
  • To deliver stadium tours as required with the express purpose of selling season tickets to those attending
  • To provide customer service cover in the Box Office as required
  • To ensure all Health and Safety matters are properly complied
  • To attend all scheduled training sessions as requested.
  • To record sales transactions and customer information onto club systems in compliance with any relevant data protections laws
  • To maintain a clean, tidy and attractive presentation of Club property
  • To undertake any other duties as required under the guidance of the Customer Service Manager

Person Specification

Essential

  • Full, clean driving licence.
  • Previous sales experience.
  • Be target-orientated with a proven track record in achieving above budget performance.
  • Be fully flexible in regard to working hours which will include evenings, Bank Holidays and weekends.
  • Have a polite and courteous manner.
  • Be able to adapt to different and changing situations.
  • Basic numeracy, IT, literacy and telephone skills.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a Customer Service environment
  • Cash handling experience.
  • Experience in face to face B2C sales.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Disclosure Barring Service Check.
