Salary: £8.65 per hour

Contract: Permanent 

Hours per week:  Non-contractual

Overall Objective: To ensure that the matchday public catering team deliver great customer experience, optimize sales and delivery high standards of food and beverage services within the Stadium.

Job Description

Main Objectives

• To work within a team to deliver fantastic customer service.
• To optimise food and beverage sales.

Summary of Duties

• To lead and manage a team of Concourse Assistants across a variety of areas.
• Ensuring all food safety logs and wastage sheets are filled out correctly.
• Ensuring all team members working efficiently and to a high standard of cleanliness and customer service.
• Engaging stewards in half time queue management.
• Ensuring Food Safety, licensing and Health & Safety standards are met by all team members at all times.
• Briefing of all Concourse Assistants within their designated areas as directed by the Senior Public Catering Supervisor or Manager(s).
• To take an active leadership role in the successful running of the Public Catering operation.
• To undertake any other reasonable management request.

• Have strong verbal communication and able to interact with customers.
• To be pleasant and courteous and have good customer service skills.
• Be flexible around hours and days of work.
• Be adaptable to changing work and environments.
• Have basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Be able to work as part of a team and alone.
• Be of smart appearance with good personal hygiene.

Desirable

• Hold a  Basic Food Hygiene or similar qualification.
• Previous experience in a customer facing role.
