Duty Manager - DoubleTree by Hilton Milton Keynes
Department: Operations
Reporting to: Senior Duty Manager
Salary: £18,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours per week: 40, 5 out of 7 days
Overall Objective: To ensure the safety of hotel staff and guests and to oversee the day to day running of the business.
Main Objectives
- To support the hotel management team withthe day to day operations of the hotel.
- To coordinate fire marshals.
- To be the main point of contact for guests, dealing efficiently with any requests, issues, enquiries, or complaints.
- To meet and exceed guest expectations through consistent delivery of service levels in line with Doubletree by Hilton brand requirements and company standards.
Summary of Duties
- To liaise with Department Managers, Supervisors, and Team Leaders to ensure that all resource needs are met.
- To communicate with customers via a multitude of channels.
- To report and record maintenance and health and safety issues, and accidents within the hotel and surrounding areas.
- To comply with all company policies and procedures.
- To ensure the safety of all employees, guests, and property through liaison with the Safety and Security Department.
- To support operational teams in the delivery of excellent service.
- To support development within the business through training, appraisals, and coaching.
- To ensure opening and closing procedures are followed and adhered to.
Essential

- Previous experience within the hospitality industry.
