Here’s a snapshot of the role and its key responsibilities:

The Chief Steward plays a key role in leading the smooth operation of kitchen production and hygiene standards, providing direction for the stewarding team.

Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, this role is part of the Kitchen management team. You will be required to ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations and all food preparation areas in all kitchen and back of house areas for our Food and Beverage Outlets (Booking Office Restaurant and Bar, MI+ME and Hansom Lounge), In Room Dining, and Event Operations, as well as the associate dining room, to ensure a consistent, high quality area is maintained at all times. 

We’ll be hiring a candidate that has:

• Sustained and proven experience in a similar quality, five-star, lifestyle, high volume environment
• Demonstrable skills in strategic vision and execution or hospitality
• A strong knowledge of lifestyle and luxury hotel standards with evidence of successful implementation of high level service and product standards
