HR Coordinator - our expectations

  • To be the first line of enquiry for personal visitors and telephone calls to the Human Resources Office, referring such enquiries to the appropriate person as required, and to provide administrative support to the Human Resources department.
  • To at all times abide by the Data Protection Act and maintain the utmost confidentiality in respect of personal or sensitive information.
  • To be fully aware of and adhere without exception to all Company policies, procedures, rules and regulations as laid out in the Employee Handbook, all Human Resources policies and procedures, acting as a role model for other associates at all times.
  • To set an example in personal grooming, encouraging other associates to be well-groomed and dressed in accordance with the Company’s dress code/uniform guidelines, and also to be punctual for duty and appointments.
  • To maintain positive and effective working relationships within the Human Resources department and with all other colleagues.
  • To actively participate in the communicative culture of the department, contributing to daily meetings and otherwise communicating all pertinent information to the other members of the team, and keeping up-to-date with departmental, Hotel and Company-wide events, activities and initiatives.
  • To inform the Director of Human Resources of any matters of concern relating to associates.
  • To represent a friendly, approachable and caring figurehead for the department and be the first line of enquiry for personal visitors and telephone calls to the Human Resources Office.
  • To assist associates with basic queries, advising them in terms of Human Resources policy and procedure and escalating matters to colleagues within the department as appropriate.
  • Be eligible to live and work in the UK
