Sales Executive - our expectations

  • Visit potential clients at their office to present the property and to identify business potential, the decision-makers, decision dates and the best tactics to secure business.
  • Invite potential clients to the hotel to view both properties. 
  • Re-contract existing accounts on an annual basis.
  • Acquire new accounts from Corporate, Mice and Group Segment
  • Entertain as appropriate, according to business potential (prior authorisation required using ‘Entertainment’ form.)
  • With some accounts it will be necessary to arrange an evening reception for a group of agents or corporate clients to develop business.
  • Prepare a monthly report showing all client conversations, with a covering summary showing a list of client appointments and bookings taken.
  • Assist fellow members of the team with FAM trips and evening events where appropriate and when requested.
  • Assist Sales Co-ordinator with administrative tasks where necessary, particularly when reports need to be put together for Executives visiting from Head Office and supporting the production of month end sales reports when required.
  • To ensure that month end reports are produced, including company and agent production for month end and YTD vs previous year.
  • Attend Trade Shows
