Responsible to: Head Chef 

Areas of Responsibility

• Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment
• Wash plates, pots, cups, pans etc as required
• Keep floors swept and cleaned
• Keep the dishwasher area and machine clean
• Empty bins and clear rubbish as needed
• Top up cleaning chemicals as needed
• Maintain and clean the grease trap during the shift
• Work through the cleaning schedule and complete as required
• Keep stores tidy and clean
• Keep on top of laundry and bag up dirties for return to laundry
• Assist the chef team with storage of deliveries
• Assist with the preparation of vegetables
