COMMIS CHEF – The Kissing Gate Bar Liverpool Airport

Our team at the Kissing Gate is looking for  full time, energetic, skilled and competent Commis Chefs. 

The heart of the Kissing Gate is our kitchen. As a Commis Chef you will be serving up the quintessential Fish & Chips. Juicy Kebabs, even tasty meat-free dishes. All cooked and plated with skill, care and a passion for great cooking. While it may be our name that's above the door, it will be your talent that will delight our guests and keep them coming back for more. Rate of pay – starting from £11:50

• £500 Joining Bonus!
• An extra £1:20 per hour for all hours worked between midnight & 06:00
• Travel Support to / from the Airport at unsocial times

Under the supervision of Vicky our Kitchen Manager, you will be: 

Helping with deliveries. 
Preparing meats and vegetables. 
Assisting other Chefs. 
Assisting with stock rotation. 
Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards 
Efficient time keeping and time management of both preparation and food service.  
Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately 
Ensuring daily, weekly & monthly cleaning duties are carried out as organized by the Kitchen Manager. 
Confidently cooking completed dishes from the menu.
