Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays, as per the store's requirements - this role does require early mornings and late so please ensure you are able to commit to these hours.
Job Description
- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate stock control, receiving and logging all deliveries, and updating inventory records accordingly.
- Stockroom Organisation: Keep the stockroom tidy, organised, and efficient, ensuring that all products are correctly stored and easy to locate.
- Replenishment: Ensure that stock is regularly replenished on the shop floor to maintain product availability for customers.
- Product Handling: Assist with unpacking deliveries, tagging products, and preparing them for the sales floor.
- Stock Checks: Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with floor team, management, and other stockroom colleagues to ensure seamless operations.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines when handling stock and operating stockroom equipment.
- Customer Assistance: Occasionally assist customers with stock-related queries and provide excellent customer service where necessary.
- Loss Prevention: Be vigilant and aware of loss prevention measures, reporting any discrepancies or suspicious activity.
Qualifications
- Previous Experience: Experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or retail environment preferred.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills to manage stock efficiently.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy stock as part of the role.
- Teamwork: A positive team player with good communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
