About us.

Frasers Group started as a small store in Maidenhead in 1982 and from there, grew to become a global powerhouse. We are now a collection of the world’s most iconic brands.

We’re reimagining retail and believe the higher the risk, the greater the reward. We’ve never been afraid to push forward and change the way the industry operates, diversifying our portfolio and elevating stores. We’re not sitting back – there’s no room for hesitation.

The Opportunity.

The IT division at Frasers Group powers the systems and technology that help support a ~£4bn turnover business. We build, support and maintain every system across our retail stores, ecommerce estate, supply chain and warehouse.

We’re looking to find some ambitious and talented Junior Delivery Managers to come and take on a key role in our supporting our delivery pipeline. These roles will work closely with our software engineering and infrastructure teams and will be empowered to take on the day to day management of key business deliveries and help oversee our ‘business as usual’ work requests.

Our Junior Delivery Managers will help to triage new work requests and ensure we have as much information as we need to support conversations around prioritisation. They will act as a key focal point for communication between our technical teams and business stakeholders.

This role is a stepping stone for keen and ambitious individuals who want to develop a career in delivery and project management. They will have chance to learn and refine their skills, whilst working in an organisation that thrives on fast turnarounds and maximum commercial impact.

Whilst we’re flexible around working from home, the expectation is that our Junior Delivery Managers will be happy to spend 2/3 days per week in the office to collaborate with their broader team.

The Responsibilities.
You'll be responsible for the following;

  • Supporting our Delivery Management community to ensure the streamlined execution of key business projects
  • Proactively logging and managing delivery actions, risks, issues, assumptions and decisions
  • Aiding with work sequencing, backlog refinement and prioritisation of work
  • Working with the business to manage incoming ‘BAU’ and small enhancement tickets
  • Supporting with the creation and distribution of delivery metrics and communications relating to progress

The Person.
Ideally you'll have the following experience;

  • Experience of working in a project management or delivery management role
  • Good experience of working in a fast paced business
  • Confident in communicating with business stakeholders to keep them informed on the progress of key items of work
  • Understanding or willingness to learn about Agile delivery methods
  • Experience using Azure DevOps or JIRA to managing team backlogs
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office suite – particularly Teams, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel

It would be great if you have the following, but it is not essential:

  • A qualification/degree in a related subject
  • Experience of working in the Retail sector
  • Agile delivery processes

An opportunity like this at Frasers Group is for the fearless. The potential is massive, the experience unrivalled. To be able to make the most of it you need to live and breathe our principles - you will:

  • Think without limits and take the team with you
  • Own it and back it
  • Not hesitate and act with purpose
  • Be commercial and customer focused.
