Group Reservations Executive - London Bankside

We are now looking for a passionate Group Reservations Executive to join our Team at Hilton London Bankside.

Position Purpose
- As a Group Reservation Executive you will manage efficiently all group reservations, manage guests, customers & internal enquiries as well as maximize revenue opportunities in conjunction with the Reservations Manager through execution of clearly thought out sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities
- To have a sound knowledge of hotel PMS and related systems required to complete tasks for the role
- To ensure timely delivery of confirmed contracts, rooming lists and payment from clients
- Maintain full and accurate correspondence records, as per SOPs for all clients events
- Ensure all customer credit / payment policies are understood and complied with.
- To ensure that all procedures are adhered to and the possibility of loss of revenue is minimised through all practices adopted.
- Ensure proactive problem-solving and escalation of issues as appropriate.
- The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver ‘best-in-class’ performance in accordance with the Brand Standards and departmental Standard of Procedures (SOPS).
- Proactively work/communicate with the hotel Front Office, Revenue Management, Field Sales, C&E, Operations and Marketing teams.
- To be fully aware of all hotel / room facilities to satisfy requests and be able to sell proactively.
- Attend weekly operations and credit meetings.
- Attend all mandatory training (e.g. induction, fire, security).
- To attend appropriate training courses as and when required and be able to train other members of staff to the required standard for any chosen task.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- Strong customer awareness and focus.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively deal with customers and build effective long-term relationships
- Well-groomed and presentable with excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to work and interact well as part of a team.
- High level of IT proficiency
- Analytical approach to work
- Strategic planning
- Excellent organization skills with a high level of accuracy
- Outstanding level of customer service and excellent telephone manners
Exceptional:
- Intermediate level of Excel & Word, knowledge of OnQ PM & ONQ R&I & Delphi
