Maintenance Technician

The Grand, York

The Grand property team are looking for multi skilled operatives to work in their maintenance team providing reactive and pro-active maintenance for the hotel.

Your role in our family:

• Carrying out any work described on the official works order within the timescales and budget constraints provided, taking into account safe working practices and complying with the hotels SOP's
• This position involves working predominantly in guest areas, therefore the successful candidate will be an expert communicator.
• Other desired skills/experience that would prove beneficial in the role would include IT literacy, Health & Safety

About You

Our team are the heart and soul of The Grand, without them The Grand is just a beautiful building.  We pride ourselves on the warmth of our Yorkshire welcome that each one of our guests receive.

You will need to be able to demonstrate that you can undertake a multi-trade role within a maintenance team to a high standard and should have a core skill in either plumbing or joinery and can demonstrate some general building skills for example tiling, patch plastering and the ability to carry out bathroom replacements to a good standard.
