Located on level 52, GŎNG, our signature bar derives its name from 'dougong' - a unique structural element of interlocking wooden brackets, used in traditional Chinese architecture and also featured in the bar.

The venue's modern Asian design was inspired by the mythical aspect of cinnabar - a mineral that has been used historically to create the 'dragon red' found in the walls of Chinese Imperial Palaces.

With a number of intimate chambers (Cocktail Bar, Champagne Bar and the Swimming Pool), the interior is also reminiscent of the traditional boudoirs of the West.

The dramatic backdrop of London’s skyline makes GŎNG the perfect place for sunset cocktails and late night drinks.

We currently have a vacancy for a Cocktails Waitress/Waiter joining our GŎNG team.

The Role

We are looking for a Wait-er/ress to provide a finest personalised service to our customers by engaging with them and by adhering to Food and Beverage brand standards. Our wait er/ress will ensure that our guests are comfortable and welcome on a warm manner. He/she will take drink orders and present menus when required.

She/he will ensure that the F&B team achieves profitability and growth in line with our Core Values (humility, courtesy, respect, helpfulness and sincerity) at all times.

Requirements and Responsibility

• Relevant experience in a similar role
• Exceptional organisation skills
• Ability to create and develop great relationships
• Fluent in English (both oral and written)
• Greet guests in a friendly, positive manner and make them feel at home.
• Exhibit selling techniques cum proper knowledge, and service delivery of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Utilize silent service approach and maintain a clean environment.
• Itemize bills correctly and secure payment as required.
• Bid guests farewell by using guest’s name when known, and inviting them to come back.
• Replace inserts, clean menu covers, and maintain professional appearance of the area.
• Maintain clean environment.
• Maintain high level of professionalism that will attract guests to want to return to the property.
• Respond appropriately to guest needs and do so with a sense of urgency.
• Performs other job related responsibilities when assigned.
• Must possess good professional appearance.
• Must be able to work different shifts, which may include holidays and weekends.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience in a 5* star London hotel
• Certificate / Diploma in food and beverage or hospitality management
